I caught Regina Spektor on Conan last night, I thought the song was pretty good. Maybe I’ll go check out the show at the Bowery Ballroom. She reminded me more than a little of Nellie Mackay, but her piano was much redder.

Solomon Burke was also on Conan two nights ago. The song was fine, but I was amazed at the size of the man. He sat on a throne while he sang, which is his you know, his thing, and I thought he would get up and some point during the song, but he didn’t! I knew has was a big, but that footage made me wonder if he can walk at all.
