Arctic Monkeys are the Next Oasis?
General, Music October 4th, 2005When I first noticed that a band called Arctic Monkeys was playing 2 nights at the Mercury Lounge in November, I thought that a name that ridiculous must be code for another real, more popular band (a la Bridget Jones’ Diarrehea), but apparently these guys are for real and according to Conor McNicholas of NME they are bigger than Jesus Oasis in the UK. Guess I’ll have to check out the music.
