Apparently, the unstoppable Google machine is moving into the Classified Ads business. It was live, but now it is down, http://base.google.com. Seems like this latest incantation might be a challenger to Craigslist or eBay, personally I don’t think this will put a dent in Craigslist (too many people love it), eBay is on a little shakier ground (too many people love to hate it).
