What was the hottest concert this past weekend? Wolfmother at Webster Hall? Snow Patrol at Roseland? The Fall at Southpaw? Well, if you guessed any of these, you’d be wrong. The hot show of this past weekend was most definitely Dan Zanes and his Brooklyn Friends at the Hanson Place United Methodist Church. Dan and his band entertained an enthusiastic crowd at a benefit for Develop Don’t Destroy Brooklyn. Some of his guests included, The How Not To Get Rich Orchestra, Toshi Reagon, (the fetching and very pregnant) Barbara Brousal, Lloyd Miller (of the Deedle Deedle Dees), Astrograss, The Rubà Theater Company, and Steve Buscemi.
