New Sandisk 8GB Player
General, Tech August 22nd, 2006The 8GB Sansa e280 from Sandisk holds 8GB and includes an expandable memory slot which increases capacity to 10GB. While it may not be iPod nano killer, this kind of capacity and feature set should put pressure on Apple to beef up their own (now somewhat long in the tooth) offerings. In that regard, Apple rumors are circulating that September 16 may be a end of life day for the current nano (whatever that means).
