I remember Joanna when she was a child; she and my daughter used to play together. We were friends with her parents, Bill and Chris, in Nevada City CA. As I recall, she was a bit of an odd child. She had a tendency to bite when she got frustrated or angry. Needless to say, we had to keep an eye on her…

this is her second album, her first is called ‘milk eyed mender’, she also released a small 3 song live cd after this one which has a amazing live version of cosmia…
