Hot on the heels of the highly buggy, iTunes 7.0, Apple releases iTunes 7.01. As a side note, iTunes 7.0 locked up my 20GB 4G this morning, hopefully this update will be an improvement. Here’s what the iLounge community has to say.

Here’s my vote for most annoying trait of iTunes installation, WHY MUST IT ALWAYS INSTALL QUICKTIME IN THE SYSTEM TRAY? This is so goddamn annoying I can’t even begin to describe it.

Update: Engadget.com points that the new iTunes release also points to a future iPhone that everyone has been talking about for what seems like forever.
