I haven’t blogged much about CMJ, I’m assuming people are getting that information elsewhere. There’s a lot going on all over town, but tonight I am interested in seeing the Mint Records showcase at Union Hall in Brooklyn. Why, might you ask? Well, one, it’s close to home, and two it will be featuring some lesser known Canadian bands, such as Novillerro, Sparrow (Jason Zumpano) , The Awkward Stage (Shane Nelken) , The Bicycles, and the DJ stylings of Carl (AC) Newman.
