I have to give Microsoft props for the promotion of this device, that won’t, however, change the fact that it will still probably be the biggest flop of 2006.

Live Music
O’Death, Brothers and Sisters, Bad Veins – $8
@ Union Hall (Hey, I’ll be there, come say hello).

Joanna Newsom
Webster Hall, 5PM and 9:30PM
Tickets still available! Pitchfork says 9.4 [Best New Music].
(I can’t help but think this was a poor venue choice for her).

Film
indieWIRE Presents will be hosting director Darren Aronofsky for a discussion tonight at 7PM at the Soho Apple Store. The event is free and open to the public. Aronofsky will discuss his film The Fountain, starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz, which opens on November 22.
