What can I say? It was pretty short and not too mean spirited. Stephen had some good sight gags with the “Mission Accomplished” banner, the O’Reilly painting (on loan from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard) and the 30% off sticker, but the interview itself didn’t have much comedy meat. Colbert’s throw away comment, “You have no what that’s like [to be thought of as a sexual predator]” was definitely the cruelest (albeit unintentional?) barb of the night.
