Tonight Andrew Bird (aka Dr. Stringz) performs at the excellent and intimate Union Hall. Tickets, of course, were gone the minute they went on sale. If I didn’t have to stay home tonight I might try and finagle my way in, (or just sit outside the basement bar and listen). He’ll be playing the Late Show with David Letterman tomorrow night. He’ll be playing Webster Hall (with Joan as Policewoman) on May 17th.
