Went to Makor last night to check out Anais Mitchell as part of the Under The Radar series (hosted by John Platt of WFUV). Anais played a great set with Austin Nevins accompanying her on electric guitar. Kelly Flint opened up and Lipbone Redding closed the show. Kelly Flint’s set was pleasant, but didn’t wow me really, she’s got a regular salon gig at Googies Lounge at The Living Room on Tuesday nights if you want to check her out. I bowed out before Lipbone’s set started (yes, I know, call me lame).
