Montreal’s Land of Talk will be making their way to NYC two times this summer, once at Summerstage with Decemberists and Grizzly Bear (arguably the biggest “indie” Summerstage show of the season) and again at CitySol as part of a BV sponsored show.

You won’t be seeing Abbottsford BC’s You Say Party! We Say Die! in the US anytime soon. Band member Stephen O’Shea is banned from performing in the United States until the year 2011. US performance prohibition notwithstanding, You Say Party! recently signed a deal with Toronto based Paper Bag Records, home to fellow Canadians Tokyo Police Club. Not letting that pesky US ban get in there way, they will be touring Canada and Europe extensively this summer.
