Matthew Caws at Union Hall
Live Music July 10th, 2007Matthew Caws kicked off night 1 of the Union Hall anniversary week last night with an acoustic set that was part solo and part accompanied by Joe McGinty (of Psychedelic Furs fame). The well received setlist was sprinkled with a generous helping of Nada Surf tunes as well as some covers of The Who and The Lemonheads, just to name a few.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot (shame on me) the whole evening was hosted by the delightful and charming Sara Schaeffer, who MC’d a mini-round of “Name That Tune” among other amusements.
