Hey loyal readers (and opportunistic contest hounds), I’m giving away a pair tickets to see Jonathan Rice and Matt Costa at The Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday, March 1. For a chance to win, just send the name of your favorite Jonathan Rice tune to contests(at) Jonathan Rice’s latest album is entitled Further North and its out now on Reprise Records (a subsidiary of Warner Brothers, the home of Rilo Kiley), Matt Costa’s latest is called Unfamiliar Faces and it’s also available right now courtesy of Brushfire Records (home of APW headliner Jack Johnson). If you’ve got the time, they’re both worth having a little listen to. Winners will be notified on Wednesday or thereabouts.

On a side note, $24,000 worth of Matt Costa’s gear was stolen in (my hometown of) Winnipeg, MB on the morning of February 17th outside of The Garrick Centre. If you have any information regarding this crime, please contact Chris Fenn from the band or Detective Duncan Paterson of the Winnipeg Police Department.
