I wasn’t at Langhorne Slim’s record release party at the Mercury Lounge tonight but I was at his MHOW show on Monday night which I enjoyed thoroughly. I also heard some of Josh Ritter’s set that night, whose country/folk flavored pop songs seemed like they would feel right at home on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. One thing I’ll say about Josh, he sure seemed to be having a good time that night, I don’t think the smile left his face the entire time he was up there.
