Fiery Furnaces Playing East River Park, New Live Record in August

It’s been sort of under the radar, but The Fiery Furnaces are playing a free show at the East River Park on July 17. They are also releasing a 2 CD/triple LP live album on August 19 called Remember.

This double CD/triple LP live album features 51 tracks spanning the band’s entire catalog and was recorded over the past three years of constant touring. CD is limited to 9,000 copies and comes in a deluxe 6-panel digipack with coupon to download an exclusive bonus track. Vinyl is limited to 2,000 copies and is housed in a custom-made old style tip-on gatefold jacket with a pasted-in flap that holds the third LP. Also includes download coupon. [Insound]

  1. Probably because I’m leaving for Chicago that day so no one will rock in New York without me around! Or maybe because Ted Leo’s playing that night at Castle Clinton. Who knows the reasons for things like this anyway!
