Drake’s favorite TV creator/curmudgeon, David Milch, is making a new pilot for HBO entitled “Last of the Ninth”. Mining his institutional roots again, the new show (written with NYPD Blue’s Bill Clark) will focus on the officers of NYPD’s 9th Precinct. |
• No Arcade Fire For MeFive actors — Fredric Lehne, Michael Gaston, Lily Rabe, Clifton Powell and Michael Raymond-James — have signed on to the David Milch-created pilot, which is set in New York in the early 1970s. The show centers on the relationship between a young undercover cop (Jonah Lotan) and a veteran detective (Ray Winstone). [Zap2it]
