Cat Power (aka Chan Marshall) will be releasing a new covers EP (as follow up to her last covers LP) digitally and on limited edition double 10″ vinyl on December 9 from Matador.

The EP entitled Dark End of the Street, will feature six tunes that Chan and crew did during the Jukebox sessions, including covers of The Pogues, James Carr, CCR and Aretha Franklin. The band will then take off on a US tour that kicks off October 7 in Arizona and ends up at The Shoreline Amphitheater for Bridge School Benefit. [Filter]
