Woyzeck at BAM
The Nick Cave scored Woyzeck starts tonight at BAM and I gotta tell you, this video trailer looks pretty badass. Woyzeck plays Oct 15, 17 and 18 as part of the BAM Next Wave Festival.
On October 15, there will be a free after-party for BAMfans and Generation Advance with the cast of Woyzeck at Deity, featuring DJ Nicole Leone and drinks from Iceland Naturally (RSVP required).
I saw Woyzeck last night, and it was indeed pretty badass. People bungee-jumping from the ceiling, no less.
Ooooh, I really want to go now. I am a “Friend of BAM”, but I didn’t get early-on-sale tickets.
I bought a ticket towards the back of the mezzanine wednesday afternoon for that night’s show. i could see fine from the back. the show is really big and physical, so you don’t need to be super close to the stage. there is also some line at the box office that you can stand on for last minute tickets. i might have posted this too late, seeing as how it only plays tonight and tomorrow.
