• Just Call Me Sir Dr. PaulA new track from the Beatles? Paul McCartney hopes to unleash “Carnival of Light,” a 14-minute experimental Beatles track recorded in 1967 but never released, he said in an interview with BBC Radio 4 that is to be broadcast this week, The Guardian reported. During a recording session at Abbey Road Studios, Mr. McCartney said, he asked the other Beatles to “just wander round all of the stuff and bang it, shout, play it.” [NYTimes.com]
