Stella at Union Hall (11/22/08)
Saturday night at Union Hall was a run through show for the upcoming Stella reunion tour and Black, Showalter and Wain are obviously still polishing their act (as you can see from the photos, they made no attempt to hide their scripts). The 55 or so folks those that were lucky enough to be there warmly (maybe somewhat luke warmly at times) embraced the show, but for those in the room that might have seen Stella before it was a bit of a stroll down memory lane. (PS Thanks to Michael Ian Black for reminding me who let the dogs out, now I can’t get that Baha Men song out of my head.)

Was there a video skit, like back in the day? Or any guest? Or Mr. Blue? If not, this was NOT a Stella show.

How was it? What was it about?
The video was of Black (briefly dressed as Ashton Kutcher) and Showalter explaining to Wain that he was being “Punk’d” because he was really doing the show with two robots dressed up as Black and Showalter. I’m not sure if it was a new bit or not.
