Motley Crue at MSG (03/16/09)

I know this is a little off the beaten path for me, but it seems like just yesterday when I was sitting in Graham Blake’s basement listening to a bunch of guys dressed up like women “shout at the devil”. Fast forward to 2009, the original members of Motley Crue played to an enthusiastic (but not quite sold out) crowd at MSG on Saturday night (March 16), and earlier that same day, they were over at Fuse TV to announce the lineup for their upcoming Crue Fest 2 tour.
Motley Crue will be joined by Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and Charm City Devils on the Crue Fest 2: The White Trash Circus tour, the band announced at a Fuse TV press conference on March 16.
The band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Dr. Feelgood,” its first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, by performing the album in its entirety on the tour, which kicks off July 19 in Camden, NJ and runs through Sept. 5 in Darien Lake, NY. [Billboard.com]
