Last year’s Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival was a great success, so they’ve decided to have another one. This year’s EMCF will take place from September 17-20, 2009 at The Bell House. Stay tuned for lineup announcements!

Austin’s favorite sons SPOON will take a respite from their worldly travels and in-studio toiling to present SPOONX3, a three-night festival taking place July 9, 10 and 11 at Austin’s Stubb’s Amphitheater featuring the debut of new material from the band’s forthcoming album as well as different special guests nightly, all handpicked by SPOON.

Summerstage Official Schedule Announced

The full 2009 Central Park Summerstage lineup was officially announced today, a couple of surprises on the list including the family show on July 12 with DJ Lance Rock and Brobee of Yo Gabba Gabba (not to be outdone, Prospect Park has They Might Be Giants on July 11).
