The new EP Champagne in Seashells (9/1, Yep Roc Records) by Liam Finn + Eliza Jane is Liam’s first new music since his emergence with I’ll Be Lightning in 2007. Liam just announced tour dates supporting Pearl Jam in his home country of New Zealand as well as Australia. Another high-profile U.S. tour announcement should be coming shortly.

PS Everyone likes to mention that Liam Finn is the son of Neil Finn of Splitz Enz and Crowded House, but I also like to point out that Eliza Jane Barnes is the daughter of Jimmy Barnes, who fronted the popular Australian band, Cold Chisel.
