Somehow Lil Sugar got the early jump on this year’s Gap Casting Call finalists and posted them all up on their site today. The “official reveal” doesn’t happen until Monday, December 7, but why wait until then when you can check out more pictures of the top 20 kids over here.

UPDATE: I’ve also posted the finalist photos over here.

  1. They are all so cute! How are we gonna chose? Love the bright colors! I think Gap did a great job choosing the finalist! Good Luck to all, and thanks to Bumpershine for the update!

  2. deann says:

wow…the girl at the top in the first purple sweater is BEAUTIFUL….look at that angel face!!!

    1. Sue says:

Agree, she looks like she is ready for the the modeling career! But all are cute!

  3. She is beautiful and I agree Sue, they all are cute! 🙂

  4. Minerva says:

I entered my daughter and she is adorable – but then every mother thinks that of their own child. The kids with the super votes made me suspicious too! and I had a gut feeling that this was going to be rigged somehow – but if you don’t enter you can NEVER have a chance. What made me a little bit pesimistic was that I received a lot of emails from GAP offering coupons to shop at their store! mmm…It made me wonder!

  5. unique says:

My boys didnt make it but the finalist are adorable. i dont even know who to vote for they r all so precious . thanks bumpershine for the updates! good luck to all those cuties.

  6. erz says:

ok i just voted… i enter my kids every year, and nothing…..sigh.BUT after looking at these kids, they are regular run of the mill kids, not stunners, really. The babies dont even have their hair in and some of them are three!!! Instead of focusing on my kids appearances, I just need to make sure I take a good picture….

    1. deann says:

      erz….who did you vote for?

  7. Mya says:

WOW…15 Caucasians and maybe 4-5 African Americans??
I have personally looked at the gallery this year for the gap casting call,
there were so many adorable Asian and Indian children. Yet, NOT
ONE OF THEM MADE IT TO THE FINALS!!!! There are much more to beautiful
kids than blonde hair and colored eyes!!!! I use to be a very loyal customer of GAP….
not henceforth! I thought the days of racism and favortism was over in this country! What
people need to realize is that beauty is only skin deep….once born in this country…you are
a citizen…an american!!! And America is not just about black and white!!! Seriously …let’s
get it together! Most of the best engineers in America today…are Asians and Indians..the best Doctors in America are also amongst the Asian and Indian population… But yet…we can’t see our children on billboards across the nation???

    1. Crystal says:

In response to Mya’s comment: I only see one that has blonde hair. It sounds like you may have some personal racial issues that need worked on. Good luck with that.

      1. Mya says:

OMG..you sound reallllyyy “intelligent”. Let me rephrase myself….”15 out of 20 caucasians” with blonde, red, strawberry, brunette etc. colored hair…..(is that better Crystal…lol) you must be one out of two things….Caucasian……or African American. #1) Please…don’t knock me because you know I’m right!!!! And #2) this world “still” seems to have some racial issues….unfortunately, luck has nothing to do with this issue;( this whole contest was unfair..I would ask you to put yourself in my shoes, but you’ll never know how it will feel to have your 9 year old child look at the results of a nationwide children contest, and ask and immediately answer his own following question: Mommy, how come there’s no Korean or Indian finalist after we also do so much to help…why didnt America vote for us…oh, they probably don’t think we’re cute;((((!!!!

    2. VCC says:

You are so right! Not even one Mexican American child was in the top 20 finalists. But of course, they had to choose African Americans or else they would get sued. You know how they are. Oh well, better luck next year.

      1. sparkles says:

no how are they VCC? OMG!! Everyone can’t win. Maybe next year lil miss mexican american.

  8. SUE says:

MY THREE BEAUTIFUL GRANDCHILDREN WERE ENTERED IN THIS CONTEST NEITHER OF THEM MADE IT TO THE FINALS. FUNNY THING WAS EVERYTIME YOU WENT TO VOTE THE SITE WOULD NOT ALLOW IT, YES THERE WERE TIMES WE COULD VOTE (AND WE ONLY PUT OUR VOTES IN DAILY)MAKES ME WONDER IF THIS WAS SOMEWHAT RIGGED? OH WELL GOOD LUCK TO THE WINNERS I HAVE MY BEAUTIFUL GRANDCHILDREN ALL TO MYSELF! BEST THERE NOT IN THE PUBLIC EYE ANYWAY…..

    1. bumpershine says:

Maybe you needed to have caps lock off in order to vote.

  9. Erin says:

I agree with you Mya. Though the finalists they chose are all beautiful, I would have loved to have seen a lot more diversity… Asian, Indian, Latino, ect… It definitely seems like they had a certain “look” in mind for this campaign as I counted 14 out of the 20 kids were Caucasian children with dark blonde to medium brown hair.

  10. bumpershine says:

Can we please not make this a discussion about race, that really is not what this site about. No matter what finalists were chosen, some people were bound to be disappointed by the results. Let’s all be civil here, otherwise I’m just going to shut this thread down.

    1. deann says:

My daughter is one of the 20 finalists. I just want to say that we had a great experience with this entire process and it was because Gap was so fantastic to everyone. They were very generous and treated all of us very well.

All the kids were so cute and all the parents I met were very nice.

  11. SB says:

Bumpershine thanks for adressing the race issue. It really upset me as an afican american to see the comment that VCC made (You know how they are) maybe you should shut down this thread down that was very, very hurt to me!

    1. sparkles says:

      Well said SB!!

  12. Jess says:

We had a good experience too. Definitely not rigged –I feel like we just got lucky. My son is half Peruvian (South American/Latino)and we celebrate that in our home. I think many of the kids were a mix of different nationalities. They all really are adorable and the families were really nice.

  13. unique says:

Oh wow , i did not read all the other comments prior. I entered my boys this year and last and they didnt make it , its a contest. u win some u lose some, I personally think that the judges have very hard choices because let me just say that the finalist are all beautiful children , no matter what nationality they are. And i dont think race is an issue because last year wasnt one of the finalists asian ? i think the whole racial issue is invalid . deann if u dont mind me asking who is ur daughter?

good luck to all those cuties , im torn i feel like voting for one each day .lol

  14. SB says:

Unique well said! It’s sad that racism is still going on. These are kids that you people are bring up.

  15. Deann says:

    Unique….Brooke is my daughter 🙂
