Voxtrot Calling It Quits, Playing “Goodbye” Show at Bowery Ballroom

Goodbye, Cruel World

Looks like Voxtrot are calling it quits for the foreseeable future (which I thought they already had done), but before they go out, they are playing a series of dates on what they’ve called the “Goodbye, Cruel World” tour. They’ll be at the Bowery Ballroom on June 26, 2010, to say farewell to NYC, tickets for that show go on sale April 23 at noon (Buy Tickets). Below is an excerpt from a much larger written by frontman Ramesh Srivastava explaining the whole situation:

…This is not to say that Voxtrot will never play again, and certainly, if Voxtrot has never been to your country (or continent) we are open to ideas, but for all intents and purposes, this series of live shows will be the last.

Part of doing something with love is being able to say “goodbye” at the right time. Thank you for everything. On to the next one…

Love,
Ramesh [Voxtrot.net]
