2010 Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle, WA (July 23-25, 2010)

The 2010 Capitol Hill Block Party starts tomorrow in Seattle, WA and at 3 days and over 60 bands, this year’s festival is the most ambitious one to date. MGMT, Atmosphere and The Dead Weather will be headlining the Main Stage on successive nights and many other “well known indie bands” will be rounding out the festival bill including: Holy Fuck, Yeasayer, Fruit Bats, Jaguar Love, Blonde Redhead, !!!, Blitzer Trapper and Real Estate, just to name a few. Once again, our man Drake will be on the ground documenting all the action in words and photos. As I pointed out in the title of this post, his above shot of Cole Alexander of The Black Lips from the 2009 CHBP found its way on to the cover of this year’s official program in a slightly remixed fashion. Kudos to you sir!
