After numerous delays, several cast changes, multiple injuries and near bankruptcy, the Julie Taymor directed, Bono and Edge composed musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark finally starts previews tonight (Nov 28) on the Great White Way. There will be no official reviews tomorrow, but I’m sure the Broadway boards (and Twitter) will begin chattering starting at curtain time. If you can’t make it out to the Foxwood’s Theatre this evening, you can catch a “Spidey Sneak Peek” on Sunday’s 60 Minutes as Lesley Stahl reports on Broadway’s biggest musical gamble.
