The Vaccines at Bowery Ballroom (01/20/11)

The UK’s The Vaccines made their US debut on Thursday night (Jan 20) at the Bowery Ballroom to a packed house full of industry folk, regular people and bloggers. For those of that missed that show, the band plays again tonight (Jan 22) at Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn. Their last performance of this “US tour” is on January 25 at Spaceland in LA, after that they head back home for a series of UK dates in February and March. Looking at the schedule, I don’t see why they couldn’t come back to the US in time for SXSW, but that still remains to be seen at this point. In fact, a SXSW appearance makes even more sense when you look at the release date of The Vaccines debut album, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?, which is scheduled to drop in on March 21, 2011 (in the UK at least) on Sony/Columbia.
