Ghostbird, the sophomore album from 25 year-old Maylasian songbird Zee Avi drops on August 23 via Jack Johnson‘s Brushfire Records imprint. Zee’s official tour doesn’t start until September, but she’ll be playing a free show at the J&R MusicFest and Tech Expo on August 25 at 23 Park Row in Manhattan. If you can’t duck out for Zee’s in-store on Thursday afternoon, you can catch one of her “proper” shows at Maxwell’s on September 23 (Buy Tickets) or at the Highline Ballroom on September 26 (Buy Tickets). Zee’s new album is currently streaming at Spinner.com in advance of its Tuesday release.
