Dawes at Rolling Stone Day Party at SXSW 2011 (03/18/11)

Dawes kick off their run of local shows tonight (Dec 5) with a big holiday gig at the Beacon Theatre with Mavis Staples and The Head and The Heart. Then, on Tuesday afternoon, they’ll be playing a free show at The RS Fest at the Openhouse Gallery on Mulberry St. Later that same day, they’ll head across the river to headline the first of two sold out shows (Dec 6 and 7) at Maxwell’s with Robert Ellis.

PS They also played Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble on Saturday night, I can only imagine how good that one must have been.
