Last time we checked in with Fanfarlo their untitled second record was tentatively set for a February 2012 release. Well, now that new album has a title, Rooms Filled with Light, and it will drop on Feb 27 in the UK and Mar 6 in the US. March 6 also happens to be the very same day that the band is playing a big gig at Webster Hall, tickets for that show are on Amex presale now, general on sale begins Friday, Jan 6. Full US tour dates have not been announced yet, but given the proximity of this album release to SXSW, I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to see these guys in Austin in a few months too.
