Fans of absurdist sketch comedy have thrilled to the work of Human Giant, both on the Internet and MTV. The Paley Center has gathered the perpetrators of this nonsense to discuss the process of making this stuff, preview some new material, and delight and amaze our audience with stunts, japes, jests, and a big t-shirt cannon. Sit in the back!

A few days ago, I posted about Season 2 of MTV’s Human Giant along with a couple of upcoming live comedy tour dates. Today, the full slate of HG tour dates were announced on their website.

Hey everyone, in celebration of the premiere of our second season March 11th on MTV and our first season being released on DVD - Human Giant will be appearing LIVE across the country. Please join us for a special evening of live comedy and a screening of some new videos from Season 2.

Human Giant Season 1 DVD

Even with the writers strike going on, the boys from the Human Giant are keeping very busy these days. First off, season 1 is coming out on DVD on March 4th, you can pre-order it right now over here. Also, season 2 of Human Giant starts on March 11th, so set your Tivos, or better yet, stay up late and watch it “live”. Finally, before the new season starts, the Giant(s) are doing some preview shows all over the city. They’ll be at UCB NY on February 4th and 11th and the Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 13 (the night before the premiere of season 2). Tickets for the MHOW show are $20 and they go on sale 2/2 at 12pm.
