Reed KD

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting too much when I popped in a CD called The Ashes Bloom by the Northern California singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Reed KD, but when all was said and done I was really impressed with this record. In fact, I’d go as far to say that The Ashes Bloom is one of the best albums I’ve heard so far this year. All of that’s great right, but living in California and being an independent artist means that Mr. KD doesn’t get to play NYC very often, so that’s why I was pretty excited when I noticed that he is in the middle of a big tour which will bring him to our fair city on June 3rd (Piano’s), 4th (Arlene’s Grocery), and 7th (Rockwood Music Hall).
