Vancouver’s Mother Mother is a band I’ve enjoyed over the years, but despite a couple of opportunities (CMJ 2008 being the last one I can remember), I have yet to see them play live. Having said that, after this week, I suppose I’ve really got no more excuses because they’re playing Union Hall tonight (Sunday) with Arms and Ultrachorus and they’ll be at Pianos tomorrow night with The Daredevil Christopher Wright. Technically, I suppose they are still touring behind their September 2008 release, O My Heart, but it’s been a while since that came out, so maybe they are playing some new songs as well.
