Well, the venerable NY Post reports that CBGB’s is in trouble, facing a monthly rent increase from 20K to 40K, the club may have to shut its doors. I was just checking out the website, and I was like, “who the hell are these bands?” I know the place has a history, but honestly, when was the last you went to CB’s? Get some talent on the bill and the people will show up, it’s that easy.
