Damien Rice9
In a word, “meh”. I’m (somewhat) ashamed to admit that liking “O” was one of my dirty little secrets. Unfortunately, this album is a less than stellar follow up to the moody yet enchanting, “O”. While you can tell Rice was trying to be ambitious on this record, in the end, I think he just missed the mark. To be honest, not one song really struck a memorable chord here, but I only listened once, perhaps on a later review, I uncover something worth sticking with.
