As I mentioned before, The Comedians of Comedy (Brian Posehn, Zach Galifianakis, Patton Oswalt and Maria Bamford) will be playing a couple of shows in New York this October in support of their new DVD release, Live at The Troubadour. The DVD drops on October 2 and “The Comedians” will be playing two shows at Irving Plaza on October 27.

In other related news:
Zach Galifinakis was scheduled to be at UCB NY tonight, but I just noticed that the show was cancelled (as a side note, I also heard Zach was a no-show at the Variety Shac DVD Release Party last week).
Patton Oswalt will be on Late Night with Conan O’Brien tonight (Wednesday). Devendra Banhart will be on too, so there’s two reasons to watch.
Season 2 of the Sarah Silverman Program (co-starring Brian Posehn) premieres on October 3 on Comedy Central.
Park Slope resident, and Flight of the Conchords supporting actor, Eugene Mirman will be joining “The Comedians” at their Irving Plaza show.
