Winnipeg’s Christine Fellows has a brand new solo record coming out Tuesday (in Canada) entitled, Nevertheless. This is Christine’s fourth solo album, and from what I’ve heard of it so far, it just might be her best. You can hear a few tracks off of Nevertheless on Christine’s MySpace page and over at ChristineFellows.com.
Christine Fellows – Nevertheless
Christine Fellows Fun Facts
Aside from being a fine musician in her own right, Christine is married to John K. Samson of a little Winnipeg band called The Weakerthans. According to an interview John gave to Grant Lawrence of CBC Radio 3, it was Christine who suggested that the waitress in The Weakerthans song Tournament of Hearts have a name (which ended up being the popular Manitoba moniker, Elvira) instead of just being referred to as “the waitress”.
Look for Nevertheless on US shelves on November 13. All currently known Christine Fellows tour dates after the jump.
