“Shine a Light,” the Rolling Stones concert documentary by Martin Scorsese, right, will open the 58th Berlin International Film Festival on Feb. 7. Mr. Scorsese and the Stones will be in attendance, Paramount Pictures announced. The film, derived from more than half a million feet of concert footage, captures the band in two concerts at the Beacon Theater in New York, on Oct. 29 and Nov. 1, 2006, when guest performances were delivered by Christina Aguilera, Buddy Guy and Jack White of the White Stripes. The film will be released in North America by Paramount Classics on April 4. [NYTimes.com]
