Sunday, September 7th marks the 5,124th and final performance of Rent on Broadway, and while it’s definitely going dark for good tonight, elements of this evening’s show will be filmed for an upcoming movie scheduled for a limited theatrical release.

Astroland, the Coney Island institution, will also close its gates forever tonight at 9:00 PM, the Cyclone and the Wonder Wheel, however, both New York City landmarks, will reopen next summer.
