Yo La Tengo‘s star studded filled “Hanukkah residency” at Maxwell’s has become an annual tradition (except, of course, in the years that it doesn’t happen) and the first show in this year’s holiday run takes place tonight (Dec 1) at sundown. No word yet on this year’s “very special guests”, some past surprise Hanukkah presents have included: Britt Daniel, Jim James, David Cross, Ronnie Spector and David Byrne.
