It seems like just yesterday that Noah and the Whale put one of my favorite albums of 2009, but it turns out that it’s already been over a year since the First Days of Spring landed on our shores. Not one to rest on their laurels apparently, Noah and the Whale will release their new (synth heavy?) 33 minute album entitled Last Night On Earth on March 7, 2011 (in the UK at least). You can listen to the first cut off of their new record entitled “Wild Thing” via custom “casette” player at noahandthewhale.com. A full North American tour has not yet been announced, but the band is set to play the Bowery Ballroom on Mar 22, 2011, tickets are on sale now.
