As you might have noticed from this week’s presales post, The Avett Brothers have added yet another NYC date to their never-ending tour schedule. Tickets for their September 18 show at the Rumsey Playfield at Central Park go on Amex presale on Wednesday, April 18 at noon EDT, regular on sale begins on Friday, April 20 at noon EDT. (The Avett’s also usually run a fan presale at tixx1.artistarena.com/theavettbrothers, but nothing has been posted for the Rumsey Playfield as of this writing.)
Like the recently announced Dr. Dog show, this show is not an official CPF Summerstage event, but rather a rental. Having said that, you can view the whole unofficial Summerstage 2012 schedule over here.
