Sarah Silverman at Union Hall (10/05/08)

From about 2007 to 2009/2010, I was a pretty regular attendee at the Tearing The Veil of Maya comedy show (currently known as Pretty Good Friends) on Sunday nights at Union Hall. Throughout that time period, I also maintained the show’s now defunct MySpace page where I kept track of the weekly lineups. Because MySpace still exists and I thought it would be a kick, I took all of my lineup “blog posts,” cleaned them up, and posted them after the jump. Though there were a lot of special guests over the years, my personal “holy shit!” celebrity moment was probably seeing Sarah Silverman in October 2008. PS Pretty Good Friends is back from summer hiatus and once happening weekly on Sunday nights at Union Hall.

Sep 25 – 8:00pm – The Bell House (Opening Night Awards Gala) Hosted by Eugene Mirman. With Seth Herzog, Bobby Tisdale, Patrick Borelli, Janeane Garofalo, and many special guests. This will be a fake awards show, with food, followed by Bobby Bingo (Bobby Tisdale’s super-fun bingo game), and an afterparty DJed by Craig Baldo.
