4th of July Weekend Super Comedy Giveaway

So it’s not the 4th of July anymore and it’s barely still the weekend, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to give away some killer comedy CDs and DVDs. Take a look at the awesome comedy prize pack I’m giving away to one lucky Bumpershine reader:

Bob Saget – That’s What I’m Talkin’ About
bob_saget

In That’s What I’m Talkin’ About, Bob Saget takes to the stage with a song in his heart: a filthy, filthy song. In the CD/DVD/Download to be released by New Wave Dynamics on July 16th, Saget lets loose and once again embraces his dark side. He tells his newest jokes and shares stories of his dad – the guy who made him like this. He also pulls out a guitar for several songs they would have never played on “Full House,” but will have you rolling in the aisles. The special premiered on SHOWTIME in May and was recorded at the Moore Theatre in Seattle.

Bob Saget will be appearing at the Bowery Ballroom and the Music Hall of Williamsburg on Jul 20 (early/late).

Anthony Jeselnik – Caligula
jeselnik

As everyone’s favorite dark prince of comedy, Anthony Jeselnik obliterates subjects no one else jokes about and most people don’t even talk about. In front of a live audience at the legendary Vic Theatre in Chicago, Jeselnik doesn’t hold back, covering every taboo topic imaginable, and then some.

Anthony Jeselnik: Caligula extended and uncensored DVD includes Jeselnik’s uncut performances from the “Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump,” the “Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen,” and the “Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne.”

Kevin Nealon – Whelmed…But Not Overly
kevin_nealon

In his most recent stand-up special, which premiered on SHOWTIME last year, Kevin Nealon delivers laughs to an enthusiastic Denver, Colorado audience. In Whelmed…But Not Overly, Nealon delivers the laughs in his jazzy cool style. He’s like a big kid as he delights in stories of messing with celebrities, embarrassing moments, and the fear that people won’t get the joke… you know, what with the economy and everything. He performs stand-up all over the country and continues to appear in film and TV.

Brian Posehn – The Fartist
The Fartist

Comedian and actor Brian Posehn is banging his head to the beat of being a Dad in his most recent stand-up special, The Fartist. The one-hour special, which premiered on Netflix earlier this year and was directed by Jay Chapman, was released on DVD and CD by New Wave Dynamics on June 25, 2013.

In The Fartist, Posehn raises the questions every parent needs to ask, such as when’s the right time to tell your kid about Star Wars, or how much should you tip a stripper?

Posehn, one of the most distinctive voices (and faces) in comedy today, has appeared in or written for countless film and TV projects that riff on his angry heavy metal nerd character. He’s appeared in The Sarah Silverman Program, Just Shoot Me and Five Year Engagement; written for Mr. Show, Human Giant, and Metalocalypse; and made himself one of America’s major funny men.

Chris Hardwick – Mandroid
mandroid

The Nerdist himself, Chris Hardwick, celebrates all things nerdy in Mandroid, his first Comedy Central special. Hipsters beware: there is no irony in Chris’s affinity for Captain Picard, Comic-Con and the Atari 2600. Mandroid features candid comedy tales that cover virginity, chess club, shark vaginas, awkward childhood, awkward adulthood (which in this case is an extension of awkward childhood) and a myriad of other topics which may or may not include Quidditch. This extended and uncensored DVD is a wonderland of discovery, and if you take but on like lesson from it, let it be, “Don’t f**k animals.”

Trevor Moore – Drunk Texts To Myself
trevor_moore

Drunk Texts To Myself serves as the debut album of songs from Trevor Moore (a founding member of sketch troupe The Whitest Kids U’ Know). Utilizing genres from rap to metal and country to dub-step, Moore uses his signature comedic styling to explain the perils of child pop stardom and uncover the pope’s money-making potential, uncover the pope’s money-making potential, and prove that Tom Hanks is far from being the nicest guy in Hollywood. The deluxe digital version of Drunk Texts To Myself includes previously released videos for the “Founding Fathers Rap” and “The Pope Rap (Modern Day Profit).” The title track also features an appearance from comedian Reggie Watts.
