To better serve the acne-and-braces set, some hotels are now offering “teen concierges” to advise their younger guests who are on family vacations.
At the hotel’s New York location, Ilana Yamin, 18, steers teens to Beacon’s Closet in Williamsburg in Brooklyn for vintage clothes and the Iridium Jazz Club in Manhattan.
I don’t disagree with the Beacon’s Closet recommendation, (even if it is a little unoriginal), and I mean no disrespect to the Iridium, but do they have clientele under the age of 80? Are Mingus and Les Paul now gods to the tween set? I must have missed that episode of the OC. See the Iridium schedule and judge for yourself.
