Hey, remember the other day I told you I was a fan of Sarah Blasko’s new record, well, the good news is that she is playing again tonight (Tuesday) at Marla Hansen’s record release party at Union Hall. Marla Hansen, as you may or may not know is part of My Brightest Diamond (Shara Worden’s band). Shara, as you also might know, was (or possibly still is) a member of Sufjan Stevens’ band. Both Sufjan and Shara made guest appearances on Marla’s new record and Marla scored the plum opening slot for Sufjan at the sold out BQE performances over at BAM in November. So what does all this mean? Well, at the very least, I think we can expect that Shara will be at the show Tuesday night and quite possibly Mr. Stevens himself.
