Some good stuff going down this week at Union Hall as usual. Our good friends at Neon Lights NYC are presenting Milton, Ontario’s own The Most Serene Republic, along with local faves High Places and She Keeps Bees on Friday night (or Kol Nidre to some).
Tonight’s show (Wednesday) features Vancouver’s Bella as openers, who appeared on this week’s CBC Radio 3 Podcast and were described by Grant Lawrence as having more “hooks than a Desolation Sound tackle box”. There new record, No One Will Know, came out yesterday on Mint Records. Brooklyn acts Cinema, Cinema and Nuh Uh round out the bill. In case you can’t catch them at UH, Bella is playing again Friday night at Pianos.
